Hello - Has anyone found a published study or list of SRI values for precast concrete when used as a roof material, specifically as the top level of a parking structure?
I have read the LEED interpretation 10411 which pertains to non-roof materials only.
Hard to believe no one has a list of accepted values for precast concrete when used in a parking structure. Anyone?
The top level of multilevel parking structures is considered nonroof surface if it has parking spaces. So I am inclined to say that you can use LI 10411 for that precast concrete! If the top level of your parking structure has NO parking spaces then it is indeed considered roof area... So to your point the LI 10411 might not immediately apply. However, I would personally be inclined to attempt to use LI 10411 in that instance. But, I can't guarantee success as I have never tried it.
