We are working on a project where the owner would like to install solid quartz flooring (i.e. Silestone: http://content.cosentino.com/docs/silestone/MSDS-Silestone-EN.pdf). We are unsure whether this product is exempt from the Floorscore requirement. It is certified by the Greenguard Environment Institute fulfilling the quality regulations for the indoor use of
volatile organic compounds (Certificación Nº HP2Ss93513-1). The product holds other certifications confirming its commitment
to the environment and health and safety such as the ISO 14001 and the NSF. Would this product be exempt or does it need to be Floorscore certified to qualify for this credit? Thanks for any advice.

CT, if it is purely quartz then it would be exempt, but I have a hunch that it may have a coating, which would mean it has to be certified. Ask the manufactuer for info on that.None of the certifications you mention are equivalent to Floorscore, to my knowledge, but I would look up the product on the UL Environment website (UL now owns Greenguard) and double-check.
