Hi,
I am currently working on a LEED project which will pursue renewable energy credit and also count the savings towards EAc1 points. The initial solar array design was for 30kW, however, due to space limitations some of the panel are going to be installed on the adjacent building which is not a part of the project. The array, however, will only serve the building within the LEED boundary. Will this is a problem either for EAc1 or EAc2?
In addition, has anyone had experience with including a energy efficient elevator as part of the savings through EAc1? If so, what kind of documentation does USGBC look for?

The PV should be fine. I think there are LEED Interpretations on that issue so look them up and cite them in your submission.
Provide a justification for the baseline elevator demonstrating why your selection is standard practice for your building type in your area. Explain the strategies employed that are savings energy and provide the calculations used to determine the savings including all assumptions.
