I am working on the new construction of a campus (non school). At the entry into the campus, there is a posted sign stating no smoking. There is however a designated smoking area inside the campus outside away from all building entrances. We have a sign designating this area as the designated smoking area. Do we need additional signs on the entrances of all the buildings within the campus stating "no smoking within 25 feet of the entrance and in designated outdoor areas only?" or will our standard "no smoking" sign be sufficient? Can we post one stand alone sign near the entrance of the campus that states the "no smoking within 25 feet of the entrance of any building and in designated outdoor areas only?" and not have to post this entire policy on all of the building entrances?

Hi Yukari,
From my experience, you must clearly state that it is prohibited to smoke within 25 feet of building entrances, air intakes, and operable windows on your signage. I'm not sure if a single sign on the campus entrance would be sufficient though.
Best,
