For an international project, what if a local equivalent for identifying sensitive habitat cannot be determined?

NC-v4 LTc2:Sensitive land protection

Site vegetated when project started; however it was previously developed

Our v4 project is on a site that previously had a housing development.  This development was removed some time ago and the land now has grass and trees.  We would like to say it was previously developed.  Does anyone have experience with this?

While I have not had this exact issue, I would support your claim of the site as "previously developed". LEED's main goal is to protect other types of sensitive land; thus, as long as this is not currently agricultural land, a public park, or a protected species habitat, your project will qualify without issue.
