NC-2009 EAp2:Minimum Energy Performance

On-site renewable energy

Hi! We are trying to offset as much as possible from our electricity consumption with on-site PV. We will install about 750 m2 of PV, of these 750 m2 PV only 500 can be placed on site and we are considering to place the remaining 250m2 on the roof of the neighbor building. The 250m2 will not be within the LEED boundary, but there will be a direct line to our building and no other line anywhere else. Does anybody have experience with this kind of case. Can all 750m2 be used towards compliance of EAp2 (we follow the energy simulation option)? Thanks

That should not be a problem, especially since the systems are directly connected. It would all count.
