What exactly is required to be submitted for documentation for the simple box model? We see the worksheet and narrative listed as required documentation for this credit. There is so much documentation required for the Optimize Energy Performance, but we don't see any specific documentation required for this credit and wonder what reviewers are requiring. Also, if we decide to use the prescriptive approach for Optimize Energy Performance does that change what is submitted for the Integrative Process credit?

The narrative should describe what has been done to evaluate energy use in the predesign or early schematic design phases. Typically there would be some sort of report generated to document the analysis that has been performed so it would be a good idea to upload that report.
Following the prescriptive path for Optimize Energy Performance would not necessarily change what you submit for the IP credit.

We submitted our CI project with only the worksheet filled in for the relevant sections, and it was accepted without comment.
Ideally, the IP credit would be completed long before the energy model, so agreed with Marcus, the path you choose for that credit is not contingent on early design exploration.

This should be very project specific. So any sample that you replicate would likely not apply to your situation. Any energy modeler with some experience could figure this out pretty easily.
