CS-2009 SSc4.2:Alternative Transportation—Bicycle Storage and Changing Rooms

Showers/Changing rooms at another level.

Our bicycle racks are next to an elevator which travels up 80ft to a gym which has the required no. changing/shower rooms. The gym is accessible to all the building occupants. Can this strategy work or do we need to have the changing rooms at the same level. Dev

Should be fine. I'm not aware of any requirement that the changing rooms be on the same level as the bike racks.
