There is a discrepancy between the requirements for shower quantities for large-occupancy projects.
- The draft reference guide states “one additional shower for every 750 regular building occupants, for the additional 1,000 – 4,999 regular building occupants”
- The LEED Online form calculates it to be one additional shower for every 750 regular building occupants, for the additional 1,000 – 4,999 regular building occupants.
- The LEED credit library states “one additional shower for every 500 regular building occupants, for the additional 1,000 – 4,999 regular building occupants” (https://www.usgbc.org/credits/new-construction-data-centers-new-construction-warehouse-and-distribution-centers-new-0?return=/credits/New%20Construction/v4.1/Location%20&%20transportation)
Which one is correct? Has anyone made it through review using one additional shower for every 750 regular building occupants, for the additional 1,000 – 4,999 regular building occupants?
