Sharing a Cost Impact Study about Living Buildings

At Living Future last week a woman from Google asked about cost comparisons and I shared that the City of Santa Monica conducted a study analyzing the costs of a prototypical mixed-use project for a Living Building vs. LEED v4 Platinum vs. code compliant (Title 24, part 6). This is full of value, super helpful - thank you! Keep in mind that with LBC 3.0 + 3.1 the costs go up for Net Positive Energy and (more to the point) battery storage for resiliency. The cost of equipment, labor, and square footage add up fast.
