Probably. Ideally you would have some sort of correspondence to back up your claim that the owner is making the commitment.

Many thanks sheffer. So it would be the best that commitment is signed by the owner and submitted by the agent. Since Comitment is for 5 years and Agent may not stay for 5 years for example. So again wouldn’t it be the the best that owner sign the commitment letter?.

Always best to follow the documentation requirements as stated. So yes it would be best.

Anyone have an example of this letter they can share?
Thanks!

Hi Ken, did you see the template example in the Documentation Toolkit?

Documentation Toolkit? Where would I find that?
I only see the template for the data submittal in the Resourse tab on the credit. Not an owner letter example. Is it somewhere else?

Hey Ken, the Doc Toolkit is a section for each credit on LEEDuser where all the LU resources are housed. You can access it from the credit page in the left-hand navigation bar (or here for this credit: https://leeduser.buildinggreen.com/credit/NC-v4/EAp3#tab-docs).
