We have a LEED v4 project for the Corps of Engineers that is connected via the local installations BMS to a remote location for managing the buildings energy systems. The meters and submeters meet the requirements for the Advanced Energy Metering credit. My question is does this data have to be shared with USGBC? In the past with LEED v2009 we were able to take advantage of an exception to MPR 6 when the project, due to security concerns, didn't allow sharing of this data. We will be seeking the same exception on this project. I do not find a requirement to share the data with USGBC in the credit language for Advanced Energy Metering and this is one of our first LEED v4 projects. Can we earn this credit without sharing the data?
