Sewage treatment plant used as alternative water source

Hello to all,

My building uses water for the toilets and for the irrigation from a municipally sewage treatment plan with biological treatment.

Does this source count as alternative water source for the credits indoor water use reduction and outdoor water use reduction?

Hi Stephan, I have had a project use reclaimed water supplied by the city. I wasn't personally the one who documented it, but I know it was awarded. I would contact GBCI with your proposed scenario and ask for clarification on exactly what type of documentation/calcs would be needed for submission.
