I am trying to select the baseline cooling system of a food industry. The process cooling requires more than 60% of total energy demand with temperature level of -44°C and -33°C (freezing circuit NH3). According to ASHRAE90.I 2007 2.3c the provision of ASHRAE do not apply to this system. 1. Is this cooling system really not applicable for LEED NC? 2. If applicable, which cooling system (which COP) can I assume for the. baseline? 3. If not applicable, should I analyse only the energy demand of office areas?
