Hello SCL,
I have a slightly different ask than my usual Contractor's Commitment announcements.
Our newest writer, Elizabeth Waters, and I are researching for a BG article about construction emissions and jobsite carbon for BuildingGreen.com
In particular, we are trying to research how much of a building’s lifetime carbon is attributed to A5 (construction installation process). Generally, it is estimated to be fairly low (only 1% by this LETI guide). But we are thinking that actual project data might show it is a bigger percentage.
Have you worked on a project where fuel use and transportation emissions were tracked and incorporated into a whole-building LCA? Is there any data you can share publicly? Have you seen other data to indicate that jobsite emissions are a bigger share than they are usually given credit for? We would happily nerd out about criteria pollutants too.
If you are willing to be interviewed for our article. Please go ahead and book a time with us, as we're on a deadline.
Best,
Candace
