06/17/2014 DESIGN PRELIMINARY REVIEW
The LEED Form states that the project has reduced potable water use by 23%. However, to demonstrate compliance, the following must be addressed.
TECHNICAL ADVICE
1. If the project team is attempting WEc3 for the Design Final review phase, provide revised calculations within WEp1: Water Use Reduction and resubmit this credit demonstrating that the project has reduced potable water use by at least 30%. Please provide documentation, such as copies of Change Orders, indicating the plumbing fixture revisions. Additionally, provide a revised plumbing fixture schedule from the project's construction documents, outlining detailed information for each flush and flow fixture specified (including fixture manufacturer, model number and flow rate) verifying that these revised fixtures are part of the construction contract.
WEc3 WATER USE REDUCTION – INQUIRY FROM MEP (Plumbing) CONSULTANT:
"In reading their review comment, they (LEED) said they made an alteration to the form which brought it down to 39% (from 40%). I was not able to tell what they changed. Can we request that information?"

Hello Brian,
Based on the WEc3 comment "When WEp1: Water Use Reduction was recalculated based on the issue noted there," it appears that the information on how they recalculated should be outlined under WEp1.
