Reaching out on behalf of the SDL "Expanding material re-use and including more people in the process" action group from the summer summit. (official name TBD - aka inclusive & circular economy, sustainable materials management, zero waste, deconstruction & reuse, etc.). In a nutshell ...unpacking where building materials are coming from, where they go, who is impacted by these processes and who gets to participate.
We know there are a lot of awesome efforts around materials and that we each intersect quite a few different networks and workgroups. With that, before honing in on what this particular group's outcomes will be, we're going to have a bit of a brainstorm session to map out the current ecosystem and identify some gaps to take on as the BG peer network. Would love to get lots of different perspectives.
