SCL and AGC Partnership

Hi all,

AGC is the biggest umbrella organization for general contractors in the states. To date, there has been practically no interaction between the SCL and AGC. In my mind, the SCL group is the most knowledgeable group of dedicated sustainability professionals out there; so is there a way that we can partner with AGC to collaborate and make sure our goals are aligned?

On related note, is anyone in SCL also a member of the AGC Environmental group? As of now, their site looks primarily oriented towards compliance but would love to get an insider's perspective.

Hi there! That is a great idea! Beck is involved in AGC, our Director of Sustainability Natalie Terrill collaborates with them, especially in their Climate Action Taskforce. We should find a way to start a conversation with them since there are some parallel efforts on both groups, particularly with jobsite efficiency.
