NC-v4.1 EQc2:Low-Emitting Materials

Roof insulation

the credits requires all materials within the building interior (i.e within the waterproofing membrame) comply with low emitting criteria, however under insulation it says all thermal insulation (excluding HVAC and piping). Is roof insulation if not within the waterproofing membrane to be included ?? a bit confused.

Hi Neetika, That's right, roof insulation does need to be included, unless you're using an inverted membrane system with the insulation on top.
