retail portion less than 10% of total SF in mixed-use building

According to Interpretation #10209, issued 7/1/2012, it says that if a non-residential SF of a mixed-used building is less than 10% or no greater than 5,000 SF, it is acceptable for the non-residential space to be excluded form bike rack calcs for SSc4.2. Our building is a residential building with about 500 SF of retail space in the lobby. So my question is, under Table Plf3-1, Space Usage Type, would I still need to include this retail space even though it is exempted in further credits? Or would it not matter for the purposes of this table? Thanks, Courtney
