Hello all,
The project is a 6-story residential building located in the United States. USGBC website says that high-rise residential buildings with 4 stories or more can certify under LEED v4 BD+C New Construction, instead of any of the LEED for Homes options.
My question is: if we follow the path of certifying under BD+C NC, do we still need a Green Rater? The website says that every residential project needs one. Also, I believe that for the Innovation credit: LEED Accredited Professional, LEED AP BD+C would give us that point, correct? Thinking about the advantages of going for BD+C NC instead of LEED Homes: Midrise.
Thank you for the help,
Vitor

Pitty, that there is no activity in such important issues.
If yoг are going for BD+C NC so all rules of it applies. Aтв no rules of "for Homes" applies, hence you don't need a rater.
Yes, LEED AP would give ytou a point (if you will comply with all requirements of it involvment).
