I am working on a project that will have incomplete spaces that will be finished by tenants. Per the LEEDv4 BD+C reference guide, page 14 of the Getting Started section, projects must submit a set of nonbinding tenant design and construction guidelines, with a brief explanation of the project circumstances. Does anyone know what the guidelines must include and what is meant by "brief explanation of the project circumstances"? LEEDv2009 included more explicit directions on what to include and I am wondering if I should follow those same directions. Thanks.

I would assume this would basically just be a summary of what was on the LEED-CS PIf5 form in v2009. I would even recommend using that form and submitting it with the project. With that, you can include a narrative that is essentially just a summary of the form - basically, just who is in charge of what (Owner vs tenant) and what all will be installed in the future.

Thanks, Dustin. I've submitted the same question to GBCI. No response yet..

Helene, could you share the response you received from GBCI and what steps you took to satisfy the requirements?
