Requirements for green vehicle category?

Hi, All!

Can you please help me understand how is the owner supposed to control the green vehicles parked near the building? The credit requirements say, that there are certain models and types of green vehicles allowed, according to the standard.

LEED does not specify how this gets managed during operation, they are just looking for signage (or a preferred permit process / discounted fee if that applies to your site).  The v4.1 version of this credit removed the preferred parking requirement and only requires EV-ready or EV charger spaces, which is more in line with local EV requirements and market demand in my experience.
