I've got a fairly simple question that perhaps I'm just reading too much into, but hopefully someone can help me out.
On the Online template for this credit, the first required signatory is marked CONTRACTOR and is placed just under a paragraph stating "For any and all spaces where water and/or chemical concentrate mixing occurs, the project complies with all applicable federal, state, and local laws and/or regulations for the storage, containment, and disposal of hazardous liquid wastes." Directly to the left of this signatory is the highlighted statement "No water and chemical concentrate mixing occurs on this project."
First, which statement is this signatory meant to confirm? It obviously can't be both.
Second, we are currently attempting the design submittal of this project and as such, there is no contractor as of yet. Is the contractor truely the responsible party for this part of the credit? and what should be done about this signatory for the LEED design submittal?

Kenneth, I believe this is an error on the Beta version of this form. Check if your form is marked "Beta" in red at the bottom, and if it is, send a feedback note to GBCI asking them to update it. (I would recommend asking them to update all your forms, actually, or at least those without stored data.)
