Hi folks,
We had a fun impromptu conversation on our call last week. We got most involved in the challenge of getting developers interested in taking advantage of IRA Tax Credits. That can be quite a challenge given their business model.
We also heard about emerging data on tradeoffs between embodied and operating carbon, and how that might be tipping some projects into dinosaur technologies like electric resistance heating. And there was plenty of griping about the challenges of recruiting and keeping good staff, especially when tech companies come after them with a different pay scale.
Next month Marisa has offered to share some insights into the creation of MacDonald-Miller's first Sustainability Report. That's Tuesday, July 9th, 2 pm Eastern Time. Notes from the calls are in this folder.
