If the overall average of 70 picograms per lumen hour is not satisfied, and the lamps identified to have high mercury content do not complete their useful life before the performance period ends, does that mean that these lamps should still be replaced so that the overall criteria is met to pursue this credit?
I read on this forum that at least one lamp needs to be replaced, but what if with just one lamp, the criteria is still not met? Do we need to replace as many lamps as necessary to meet this credit even if they have not reached their end of useful life yet?

Hi Mini, compliance for this credit is based on the purchases made during the performance period. You'll need to use the USGBC Purchasing Calculator to document that on average, the mercury content of purchased lamps was 70 picograms/lumen-hour or less. You don't have to submit anything related to your installed lamps for this credit, which is a change from EBOM 2009.
