CS-v4 EAc5:Renewable energy production

Renewable energy for LEED Core and Shell for Data Center

Hi,

I wanted to clarify how the renewable energy percentage is calculated for Core & Shell projects, specifically for data centers.

Is there any exception or adjustment allowed for the energy consumed by data halls and associated cooling systems when determining the percentage of renewable energy? Or is the requirement applied to the total building energy consumption, including these high-load components?

The high process loads are included in the calculations. There are adjusted thresholds for CS projects and high process load facilities that lower the percent savings needed to meet the Minimum Energy Performance prerequisite and earn points for the Optimize Energy Performance credit.
