The credit language reads all "occupied spaces." Is that really the intent? Or is it all "REGULARLY occupied" spaces?

Martha, did you (or anyone else here) manage to get clarification? We have a project in which all occupied spaces comply except for a data center, which is not regularly occupied space as workers are not there except for 15 minute durations (and they are required to wear protective equipment for ears, etc.).

No answer Sam. However, if you have a space where ear protection is required, I feel it's reasonable to write a narrative under Special Circumstances. Credit requirements are crafted for common circumstances, and what you describe exceeds a common circumstance.

Hi Martha & Sam, "Occupied spaces" refers to regularly occupied spaces such as offices, conference rooms, phone rooms, etc.

That would make sense, but the definitions are:
occupied space Link to this term enclosed space intended for human activities, excluding those spaces that are intended primarily for other purposes, such as storage rooms and equipment rooms, and that are only occupied occasionally and for short periods of time. Occupied spaces are further classified as regularly occupied or nonregularly occupied spaces based on the duration of the occupancy, individual or multioccupant based on the quantity of occupants, and densely or nondensely occupied spaces based on the concentration of occupants in the space.
