Regularly Occupiable Space & Circulation

Would circulation (hallways between residential units for example) be considered part of Regularly occupied space? Thank you, Ashley

You can exclude the hallways from Regularly Occupied Area in Table PIf3-1. This data field is linked to the daylighting credits, and hallways don't need to be daylit. If you pursue the daylight and views credits, residential projects can be tricky - you'll probably want to exclude other parts of the unit floor areas such as bathrooms and utility closets, so you'll need to come up with another number for "regularly occupied space" that's only used in the EQc8 credits and has to be explained with a narrative and shown on your plans. See those forum pages for more discussion on those issues.
