Consider adding an option to reward the use of locally sourced materials. I understand previous variations of this type of credit have been quite difficult to achieve since most building materials have multiple ingredients and sourcing all of them within a relatively small geographic area can be impossible. However, within the natural stone industry it is a preferred solution. It can support Carbon Reduction goals since it minimizes transportation impacts. It is also relevant with Regional Priorities as it can boost local economies. I can also see the option fitting into the Building and Materials Reuse credit since most quarries have stocks of imperfect material that could be used for many applications.
