Greetings,
i would like to ask about the April 2023 Update to the Regional ACP ID# 100002473 regarding Low Emitting materials:
"Laboratories that conduct the tests must be accredited under ISO/IEC 17025 for the test methods they use. Manufacturer statements must include a summary report from the laboratory that is less than three years old."
Is a manufacturer statement required now? In what cases?
Thanks in advance for your opinions ^^

Muhammad, it certainly sounds like yes, the manufacturer statement is now required. Was there something specific that made you doubt that?

I think this language is not saying a manufacturer statement is now required, but that if a manufacturer statement is provided it must be backed up with the lab report described in the ACP.

Sorry, my question wasn't clear, I meant to ask, should a manufacturer statement be provided in any case? (even if there is a certificate)
I got this doubt because we have been asked for signed manufacturer statements when presenting materials approvals from LEED APs, even when we provide certifcates that were once sufficient, like Indoor Air Comfort Gold (we are in Italy).
My interpretation was like Emily's, but since multiple APs seemed to have interpreted differently, the doubt occured to me.

Hmm, when you say "LEED APs," do you mean paid consultants on your project team, or are you talking about official GBCI reviewers?
