Reg: Energy Modelling Requirement Scenarios for DC under V4

Hi All

Can anyone clarify me this if my understanding is right? (Reference: https://www.usgbc.org/credits/reqea1r18-0?view=language) 

1. Instead of doing two models separately for Building Energy Cost and IT Energy Cost - Can I just build one and meter it separate, the yearly simulations will give me the results independently. Doing two models doesn't make real sense to me as the cooling system is still shared (Central Chiller Plant) and its additional work overall.

 

2. If the above approach is okay, then I just need to create 2 IT load scenarios, 1 for starting load and one for final load in terms of IT load - comparing these with the Baseline.
