Has anybody found a way to recycle/divert plywood or other engineered wood? I think I've read enough things to understand that once lumber is treated with chemicals, it isn't a material to be recycled. But I wondered if plywood, etc. could be spec'd in a way (no urea formaldehyde, etc.) that recycling places would be willing to recycled it.

Plywood is a class b form of wood as it's been treated but it is definitely possible to recycle plywood. Just as long as it's separated from other wood types it is possible to shred and then sell and recycle plywood.
