My company is looking for ways to introduce and train employees on jobsite recycling and composting. There is definitely a culture shift that needs to change in order for it to happen, but we are looking for any success stories to help us on our journey.
1) Has anyone been successful in setting up recycling/composting programs for jobsite trailers? If so, how did you implement your plans?
2) How have you reduced packaging of product on-site? (appliances, etc.)
3) Has anyone used mobile VE charging stations on their jobsites? We have looked at some options, but the lead time is about 3 years.
4) Has anyone used any "smart" trash sorting technology, such as the Oscar Sort, which had a booth at Greenbuild last year? https://intuitiveai.ca/oscar-sort
4) Does anyone know of any good presenters who train personnel on sustainabile practices, EV (charging stations, rebate programs, etc.), recycling/composting, etc. We are finding that as we look into creating incentive programs for EV and instituting recycling/composting procedures in the office, a lot of the personnel are not educated on the basics, which affects how much they care about sustainable initiatives.
