Our company leases an office building where we are the sole tenants of the buidling. The project was originally certified as ID+C: Commercial Interiors, i belive by the Architecture firm when the building was built back in 2021. We are wanting to recertiy to capture our efforts of managing our ongoing consumables but are unclear if we should considering O+M Existing Building if we are only able to certify the space we occupy, not the entire envelope of the buidling. Should we recertify the original ID+C rating if no contruction or renovation is taking place?

This may not be of particular use, but here it is just in case: https://www.usgbc.org/leed-tools/rating-system-selection-guidance
Since your space is a tenant space, I would lean to the O&M for Existing Interiors option. If you have access to the original project's certification website within LEED Online, you can initiate the recertification there; if not, you can contact USGBC via that link above to get started. I would not look to the O&M for exisitng buildings, as you may not have enough control over all of the aspects to benefit your situation with the applicable credits, and you don't own the property.
