Hi!
I found that now LEED v4.1 requires that the material doesn't exceed a concentration of 100 ppm (0.01%) for the substances found on the Authorization, Restriction and Candidate lists. REACH only requires concentration below 1000 ppm (0.1%) which is the same concentration required for all the other ways to compliance with the credit. So I wonder if this could be a typo. Could any one confirm this?
Thanks!

Dear Pablo - I am no help here, but have wondered the same myself. REACH requirements are not compliant with the LEED requirements of 100ppm. So will have anyone ever found a LEED complaint REACH declaration? I am very intersted to hear the outcome of this. BR, Lise

Hi guys,
I will answer this here, because I got a confirmation from USGBC directly on exactly this topic.
"The LEED screening threshold is more stringent than the REACH threshold. LEED is 100ppm and REACH is 1000ppm. Therefore we require manufacturers to go further with their REACH screening and use the 100ppm threshold. For this reason only products screened with REACH lists at 100ppm can contribute towards the credit. We require a letter from the manufacturer on their letter confirming they have screened to 100ppm and contains no ingredients on any of the three lists. We are seeing more REACH compliant products that have been screened to this more stringent 100ppm threshold, but it is likely more common to find the REACH 1000ppm threshold."
As you can clearly see, the threshold is at 100ppm and not 1000. Hope this clarifies it for good.
