Fiberglass insulation is used for ductwork & insulating mechanical piping, does this insulation have to comply with the IEQ4, Group 4 requirements? Reference guide states "batt insulation" but does not include these other products. Any help would be appreciated. Chris M

They are being very specific with the batt insulation comment both in the reference guide and in LEED Online. However, the comment section discusses fiberglass insulation products. To be safe, I would have all fiberglass insulation comply. If you are in construction and you have fiberglass board insulation products, can you get them to change?

We are still in the architectural submittal process, so yes there shouldnt be any issue with changing at this point. Thanks for the assistance. CM
