We plan to use RO Reject Water which is generated from within the LEED project Boundary for a Factory Project (registered within a Master Site Campus) towards the Flushing requirement.
As mentioned in Under the Water Use Reduction (WE P 1, WE C3).Vide Addiotional Guidance Document dated Dec 1, 2009 (Updated April 1, 2013)Version 8.
However, direct use of RO Reject water in the plumbing lines for Flushing is not allowed becase of the high TDS loading etc.
So we plan to treat it through an Effluent Treatment Plant and re-use the treated water for Flushing Requirement. The Effluent Treatment Plant is located on the Project site.
Please affirm if this is applicable for gaining points under WE P1 and WE C3 and also for exemplary performance. (since we plan to meet the 60% reduction in potable water use for WE C 3)

Ashwin, this seems to me like a valid way to earn the credit, as it seems akin to graywater reuse, which is allowed.
