We have a PV array installed on our campus, under the same ownership, but not on the building or within the LEED project boundary. Can we count that toward EAc2?

A New Construction Project in which the PV panels to be installed on a "330,000 SQM roof of an airport terminal building project"  to offset 22% of annual energy cost.

Is it possible to install the PV system out of the LEED boundary, and still meet the credit on-site renewable energy? 

And if yes. Is there a maximum distance allowed or any other conditions required to meet the credit?
