NC-v4 EAc5:Renewable energy production

PV Lease Agreement Clarification

Our project intends to provide land, under a min. 10-year lease, to the local power provider who will install a min. 1MW PV system. The power provider will own the PV system and the Owner has the option to buy the system at any time. The total electricity production of this system is approximately 30% of the total site energy use. The agreement states that power provider will provide solar power and associated environmental attributes (RECs) to the customers facility in quantities as detailed in the agreement (approx. 30%). This system, in actuality, sends the electricity generated back to the local grid.

Does the scenario mentioned above meet the criteria for this credit (EAc5)? Thank you.

Sounds like a lease or PPA so it should qualify as long as it is in the same utility service territory as the project.
