EBOM-2009 EAc5:Enhanced Refrigerant Management

Pursuing LEED NC streamline path

A building earned enhanced refrigerant management for LEED NC but had to add one unit during the performance period due to theft. I'm sure the existing units have probably had refrigerant added since they were installed, but none during the performance period (3 months). The new unit has not had refrigerant added since installation. Could I simply update the LEED NC form with the new equipment and submit that? (That form defaults to 2% LR). Or do I need to use the EBOM EAc5 form and add in all of the building equipment and use the 0.5% LR since no refrigerant was added during the performance period?

The NC streamlined path is no longer included as a compliance option on the latest version of the form (v5.0). To me this indicates that it might be better to complete the EBOM EAc5 form instead of trying to update the NC form. If you do go that route, you'd use the 0.5% leakage rate as you mentioned, which will actually result in more favorable calculations for the project.
