Project without landscape area

Hello everyone,

Currently, we have a manufacturing facility registered for LEED NC BD+C V4.

This project does not have any landscape area at the moment.

I would like to know does this project entitled to earn 2 points (Option 1) for the Outdoor Water Use Reduction Credit

as it is mentioned in the reference guide (Page 289)?

Because previously we have the 5% minimum landscape area required (from the boundary area) to attempt this credit.

Hi anyone looking for this credit update: I managed to get reply from GBCI which is, a project without landscape area qualifies for option 1 under LEED v4. Here is their reply snip Thank you for contacting GBCI regarding WEc Outdoor Water Use Reduction. Projects with no landscaping are eligible for Option 1 of this credit. Step 2 of the Step by Step Guidance in the LEED v4 BD+C Reference Guide states, "Option 1 is for projects that do not require irrigation, based on the project location and landscape design. This credit can also be achieved by projects that have no landscape area."
