A project (consisting of four separate buildings on a shared parking garage) will be certified according to v2009 NC. The building owner will occupy approximately 80% of the total building and rent out the rest (one of the buildings).

The question arose what would happen with the LEED certification if the owner would decide to sell the rented building? Would have any impact (after certification)? Are both parts (with different owners) still certified, or would they have to be reconsidered separately? I haven't thought of such a scenario before and cannot find any logical answers thus far... I would be grateful for any kind of help!
