Project with NO off-set parking

Good afternoon,

We are working on the renovation of a commercial building with no parking outside (the building is located in the middle of the old part of town). That way, we automatically get the 2 points of the Option 1 of the credit?

Hi Joel, Is your project providing any parking elsewhere, outside of just the project site? If they are providing parking, it is those spaces that must be counted, regardless of location.
If the only parking available is in public parking lots (this is often the case in dense urban locations, for example), then yes, you can earn the 2 points under Opt 1.
