Greetings all. One one of our LEED projects, we're using the prescriptive approach of VLT*WFR falling within the range of 0.15 and 0.18. When the actual VLT of the glazing, 0.64 is used, VLT*WFR amounts to 0.32. However, the windows have a really large overhang. Is there a scientifically accepted method for adjusting the VLT to account for such an overhang (just like the ASHRAE projection factor method to adjust the SHGC for an overhang)?

No. You must use either the simulation or measurement options.
