PM Guide to Material Reuse in Commercial Buildings

As promised at the SDL Summer Summet: Hennepin County Energy & Environment's new Project Manager’s Guide to Material Reuse in Commercial Buildings, with specification language, guidance for procurement, and case studies of successful reuse projects around the country. This resource is meant to help owners, architects, and contractors integrate reused materials in commercial scale construction projects. The guide was developed in partnership with MSR Design, Doors Unhinged, and the University of Minnesota Center for Sustainable Building Research, with content and review from national collaborators - including many members of this forum, thank you! Over one million tons of construction and demolition waste sent to Minnesota landfills annually could be salvaged and reused. Architects and contractors have a big role to play in showing owners how reuse at scale can incorporated beautifully to meet their needs.

...and yes, I do know that summit is spelled with an 'i.' On Thu, Aug 1, 2024 at 1:07 PM Simona Fischer wrote:

I finally had a chance to look through it - very well done! Sharing this with our local SF-gov staff who are trying to establish a reuse market here in the Bay Area. Thank you for sharing and doing the hard work!
