PIf3 - Space Usage "Calculator" - where to download

Maybe a stupid question, but the v6 form under 2009 no longer has the table to fill in the space usage and instead says to upload the 'space usage calculator' available for download from the scorecard. I cannot seem to find this, any help is much appreciated!! Also, I know downloads / calculators are normally located in the credit library, but for this credit there is nothing.

Hi Timothy, Thank you for the question! It is a good one, since I also cannot find the Space Usage Calculator in any of USGBC's resources. My first guess is that this calculator would be available under the PIf3 credit on LEED Online. I do not have any projects using the updated forms, therefore I cannot confirm that this is where you can find it, that is just my best guess. If the calculator is still no where to be found, my suggestion would be to download an older version of the form with the table included and upload it, along with a special circumstances narrative about the missing calculator. I hope that helps!

There used to be a "resources" section in the old LEED Online. However, I cannot find it in the new one. I would click on the "feedback" button and tell the web page administrator about your problem. And please, let us know when you find out the answer, it will be very helpful for all of us.

I couldn't find it either so I called GBCI. They had a hard time locating it too - its been buried. But here's a link to it's current location: http://www.usgbc.org/resources/space-usage-table Basically you have to go to the Credit Library, make sure the NC rating system is selected, then select Minimum Program Requirements on the left, then "Must comply with minimum occupancy rates", and then click on the Resources tab, and that's where the link is to the Space Usage Table that can be used for PIf3.

Why does the Form require Gross SF? This then gets linked to IEQc8.1 and 8.2 which do not specify net or gross, but would seem to require net as daylight and views do not impact the area inside the partitions.

Is this table requiered for v4? There is no new Usage Data Table, only the one from v2009...

I have always submitted one. We end up needing the table for a number of the Credits anyway, so it's more expedient in the long run to create one that your whole team uses.
