We have a phased reno/add school project that would prefer to earn IEQ 4 by way of post occupancy flush out. As we near the end of the first phase, I've advised the team to complete the preliminary flush out of 3500 cf/sf. Each phase will go the same way. The remaining 10500 cf/sf will be completed after the final phase of the project.
Has anyone run into complications with this method? Does this raise a red flag for the reviewer?

This is fairly common. You can check V2009 NC under the same credit for more information. Basically you can do it if the spaces between phase 1 and phase 2 are separated so that there cannot be cross contamination. Aka - pretty air tight seals like doors. Just explain your method in the alternative complicance section.
