The reference guide includes rollout mats in the list of "acceptable permanent entryway systems." LEED 2009 allowed rollout mats to be used as part of the 10' but treated it as non-permanent. What do they have in mind in v4?

Keith, I don't see a change in the status of rollout mats in LEED v4.

Can tile carpeting be used if it is vacuumed weekly?

Hi Gregory, to work for this credit the carpet tile would need to be designed specifically for an entryway walk-off application. Normal tile carpet won't fly, even if vacuumed weekly, since it isn't designed to remove and capture particulates.
