Hi,
I want to know the performance period duration for the water efficiency prerequisite "Building-Level Water Metering".
Thank you in advance,

In addition to what is stated in the credit language above, the following is part of the credit requirement:Commit to sharing with USGBC the resulting whole-project water usage data for a five-year period beginning on the date the project accepts LEED certification or typical occupancy, whichever comes first. This commitment must carry forward for five years or until the building changes ownership or lessee.

The 5 years would be the period commitment to sharing water consumption data to USGC, isn´t it ?
But, which is the "Total measured water use for the building and associated grounds during the performance period" we are required to include in the LEED WEP water metering form, 1 year? 3 months?

Hi Oscar, apologies for the lateness of this reply but I wanted to chime in, just in case others have the same question. It's up to the team to decide how many months of measured water use to include on the form, as long as it's at least 3 months and no more than 2 years. Generally we see teams aligning the water use value with the standard 3-month performance period being used throughout the rest of the project.
